Kentucky Fried Test Tube Meat

Sounds delicious doesn't it? Vegans are rejoicing. A meat that doesn't cause the death of animals. I get that premise, but something about it just skeazes me out. I just don't trust humans to create food in labs. We were the ones that came up with margarine. That was just so fantastic for us. Then we came up with high fructose corn syrup. Even better! Genetically engineered crops are an abomination. I can honestly say that when test tube meat comes on the market I will not be eating it.

  2. Read about this on a news bite, sounds pretty revolting personally.
But by the time this rolls around, the kids and grandkids will be so pulled from nature and farms that they won't know the difference anyway. If it comes from a big box store or mega mart store, its ok to eat and its good for you. Oh yes, if the government tells you its ok to eat, its ok.....

  3. my vegetarian friend was saying to me last year that we as a species no longer need to kill to eat meat because we can create it in a lab. other than the "ew" factor, what would happen to all the farm animals? they would be our competition for resources. i would assume that most would become endangered, if not extinct.
